The Indian Space Research Organisations headquarters in Bengaluru was put on alert on July 6. This happened after a new bomb threat email was received at Antariksha Bhavan on New BEL Road. The police and other security teams searched the place. They did not find any explosives or suspicious objects. So the authorities said the threat was a hoax.

This warning came a few days after another similar email threat. That one also led to a search operation at the same place. This is a concern because Antariksha Bhavan is a place for Indias space program. It has offices that handle work for the Indian Space Research Organisation.

Email Caused Evacuation and Search

The police said the latest email was sent 9 pm on July 5. The staff at the Indian Space Research Organisation saw it the morning. The email said a bomb was inside the headquarters and would explode by 2 pm. When the threat was reported the campus was emptied as a precaution. The security teams searched the building and the area around it. They did not find anything

The authorities also checked the Indian Space Research Organisations office in Peenya Industrial Area. They did not find anything there either. This is what they normally do when there is a threat to government places.

Earlier Threat Came from Uttar Pradesh

The incident happened after an earlier bomb threat email was received at the Indian Space Research Organisations headquarters on July 2. The police searched the campus. Later said the message was a hoax. The police in Bengaluru found out that the earlier email came from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. They said the person who sent it was Nishanth Tyagi, 36. The police took a device that was used to send the message and checked it.

The earlier message was in Tamil. Was sent to the office of the Indian Space Research Organisations Chairman, Dr V. Narayanan. The police did not find any explosives. They had to check the place for several hours. This disrupted the work at the headquarters.

New Investigation Started

The police are now trying to find out who sent the email. They are checking the email and the digital trail to see where it came from. The Indian Space Research Organisations administrative officer has filed a complaint. The police have started a case. They will register a complaint under the Information Technology Act.

The police will check the email headers, IP logs and other digital evidence to see where the message came from. They will work with agencies to find the sender. The Indian Space Research Organisations headquarters is a place because it handles important work for Indias space program. The repeated alerts show that there is a need for cyber security and quick response procedures.

The immediate threat is over. The latest email has made the authorities check the security systems again. The police are trying to find the sender and the Indian Space Research Organisations staff and security agencies are on alert. The Indian Space Research Organisation is taking this seriously because it is a key place for Indias space program. The Indian Space Research Organisations headquarters is still, on alert.
